Olivia & Dalton
Olivia and Dalton have been together for over 7 years, but you would think they had just started dating by the way they are still so enamored with each other. It all started as your classic, small-town high school sweetheart love story. Isn't it crazy how one day in high school can change your entire life? For Olivia, that day was during her junior year when she decided to go to the last baseball game of the season to see this guy named Dalton play who she had heard so much about. The game turned into dinner with friends afterwards, where Dalton immediately struck up a conversation with Olivia. Right then and there, they knew something was beginning. In Olivia's own words, "From that day forward, we hung out at every restaurant booth and backroad that town had to offer. When high school friends faded, we found ourselves back in those same places, together. It was the spark of our relationship."
From there, they made it through all the ups and downs of college together and even pushed through a couple years of long-distance after college when Dalton took a job in Texas. During those years, they always found comfort in taking trips to the beach together whenever they had the time. It was on one of these beach trips with friends when the next big milestone in the relationship happened. They were set to take pictures on the boardwalk one night before dinner. After getting ready with the girls, Olivia and her friends set out to meet the guys. As she was walking up to where they were set to meet, one of her friends yelled, "Olivia, look up!!" There in the sky, was a plane flying over the ocean with a banner that read, "Olivia, will you marry me?" She then looked down on the beach with tears in her eyes and noticed that Dalton was there, surrounded by rose petals and 6 picture frames, one for each year of their relationship.
After a tough year that was 2020, they were finally able to have their dream wedding before the end of the year. They were married in the beautiful chapel at Southern House & Garden in Knoxville, AL, surrounded by all their close friends and family. It was such a sweet and beautiful day for such a kind and well-loved couple. We were so honored to play a part in it and capture this lovely day!
