Marlie & Christian
All Of It Was Worth It To Get To You

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: shooting a friend's wedding is the best. Knowing their story, their background, and having a back seat view to how they made it to their wedding day is huge. It allows me to tell a story in so much more depth than I normally would, which then allows me to go all out when putting it together. Knowing all of that background, Marlie and Christian's wedding was even more incredible than simply the surface of it. These two have found true comfort in each other and each came along at a pivotal moment in each other's lives. The foothills of the Appalachians were a perfect backdrop as they were married at the stunningly beautiful and plant-filled Venue at Lilly Lou's, a former garden center that was converted into a wedding venue. From the sunrise, to the end of the night they were surrounded by their closest friends and family in celebration. It was an honor to attend and witness the wedding and even more of an honor to have the chance to capture their story. An all-around incredible experience, and I'm so happy with how it turned out on film.
